Swagbucks: A Quick Guide

Swagbucks can be considered one of the easiest and most well-known GPT sites out there. The site is geared specifically towards new users who are just getting into the online money making scene. As such, the site offers an easy to learn layout and plenty of offers that can be tailored to your earning interests. But more experienced users, Swagbucks can be a little bland but still a decent side earner. If you are looking to start out in the online money making world, Swagbucks is the place to start your journey!

Basic Information:

• Open To: Users who are 13+ and residents of AUS / CAN / UK / USA and some minor countries (so give it a try if you're not sure.)
• Referrals: 10% of referrals earnings for life.
  Current promotion involves a 300 SB bonus for referrals that earn 300 SB themselves, 200 SB bonus when they spend $25 or more in Shop & Earn.
• Cash Outs: Various gift cards and Paypal starting at $5.00 = 500 SB. (Amazon gift cards however are 450 SB for $5.)
  First $25 gift card redemption of each month is discounted by 12%.
• Earning Effort: Minimal

Recommended Routine:

1. On the left, under "TO DO" are the Daily Poll (1 SB) and a number of other quick, daily points you can earn. Completing the entire To Do list earns you bonus SB.
2. Utilize the EntertaiNOW and SBTV Mobile apps. If you have an Android phone and / or iOS device, you should start running the apps EntertaiNOW (Android and iOS) and SBTV Mobile (iOS and Android). These two apps will cycle through videos and pay you 2 SB for watching 10 / 5 videos. Check them occasionally to make sure that they aren't stuck on an ad. Alternatively, if you do not have access to these, you can try running an emulator. But be warned, you can be banned for this!

3. Discover → Special Offers → Trial Pay and RadiumOne. This page lists all the offer walls that Swagbucks hosts. Look through them for videos and watch them. They will pay you between 1 to 10 SB for each video. Also at the top of the page will be various easy offers that pay between 1 to 10 SB each.
4. Run a few basic searches using the Swagbucks Search. If you would like to set Swagbucks as your default search provider, here is a how to guide.
5. Do the 'Jun Group' offers and SBTV online. Jun Group offers are usually found under your 'my Swagbucks' page as the 'watch videos for swagbucks' offer that appears up top. Running the offers (which involve clicking through web pages) while simultaneously watching SBTV in the background will help you reach your daily goal faster.
6. OPTIONAL: Installing the Swagbucks toolbar or extension. Just having this extension on your browser will automatically notify you of new Swagcodes when they are released (at which point you can go to Swagcode Spoiler and get them.)

Other Tips & Tricks:

• Check your inbox whenever it notifies you of a message. Sometimes Swagbucks will send you videos to watch that are 2 SB each. You can also read the other offers but usually they are paid offers. 
• Check out the paid offers on the front page. Some paid offers are worth it! If you see something on the front page that you were planning to buy anyways, consider doing it through Swagbucks. There is also a variety of paid offers, from donating to charities to buying jewelry. They all pay relatively well (rule of thumb, if you get less back in SB than you spent in real cash, consider skipping the offer.) 
• On the SBTV apps, go to the garden tab and to a bunch of videos called "10 second tips." Add these to your favorites and let them play through there while you do something else.
• You can make up to 10 Swagbucks easily a day in the games in free play mode.
• Enter into the site-wide earning challenges that are often offered in the upper left scrolling box, below the logo. If your team wins, you get a bonus, even if you yourself haven't done much to assist!
• The Shop & Earn rewards for Raise.com (where you can buy discount gift cards) is a decent thing to look into if you want to buy something and save money on it!
