How To: Change Your Search Engine in Google Chrome to Earning Sites Searches

The fastest way to maximize your earning potential with any new money making website, is to see if they offer points in return for searching through them. Currently, Swagbucks, InstaGC, GiftHulk, TreasureTrooper and Zoombucks all offer this opportunity.

Unfortunately, changing your default search provider isn't always easy to do in Google Chrome, especially if you're still new to this whole money making business. But don't worry, this quick and easy guide will tell you how to change your search provider to any of the four (Swagbucks, InstaGC, GiftHulk or Zoombucks) in no time.


Changing to Swagbucks in Google Chrome:
  1. Select the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner of the browser window, just below the red x.
  2. Open up 'Settings' on Google Chrome and go down to 'Search' (Alternately you can type chrome://settings/ in the address bar.)
  3. Select 'Manage Search Engines' (or, chrome://settings/searchEngines in the address bar.)
  4. Scroll all the way to the bottom where it will offer you the chance to add a new search engine.
  5. In the first and second box put 'Swagbucks'. In the URL box, paste:
    http://www.swagbucks.com/?t=w&p=1&q=%s
  6. Set the search engine as default and prepare to win lots of Swagbucks!
Changing to InstaGC in anything!
Changing to GiftHulk Search in Google Chrome:
  1. Follow steps one through four in the changing to Swagbucks guide above.
  2. At step five, in the first and second boxes, type 'GiftHulk'. In the URL box, paste:
    http://search.gifthulk.com/?q=%s&t=home
  3. Set the search engine as default and prepare to win lots of Hulk Coins!
Changing to TreasureTrooper Search in Google Chrome:
  1. Follow steps one through four in the changing to Swagbucks guide above.
  2. At step five, in the first and second boxes, type 'TreasureTrooper'. In the URL box, paste:
    http://search.treasuretrooper.com/?q=%s&x=0&y=0
  3. Set the search engine as default and prepare to win lots of Arrowheads!
Changing to Zoombucks Search in Google Chrome:
  1. Follow steps one through four in the changing to Swagbucks guide above.
  2. At step five, in the first and second boxes, type 'Zoombucks'. In the URL box, paste:
